Elementals

Exalted as the living embodiment of a natural Aspect, Elementals are oft the result of a tribe's nurturing and tendency towards their preferred alignment. They were heralded as being godlike, their influence rumored to be absolute within their aligned domain.

In truth, they are no more than refined Aspect wielders — legendary in their own rights, each at the apex of control within their spheres of influence, but conceptually mortal all the same, if exceptionally long lived.

An Elemental can be described as being two conjoined entities; the Deiform Spirit and the Vessel. While both may vary wildly, they adhere to a general pattern.
Both the Spirit and Vessel will fall into either complimentary or identical Aspect alignments. Of this alignment, the Vessel will invariably count among the top of their peers; not necessarily the most capable, however. The Spirit then acts as a catalyst, elevating these abilities beyond normal limits; the more the two alignments overlap, the greater this effect.
Depending on the manner in which the Deiform Spirit is induced — the type of worship, beliefs, superstitions held, etc. — the Vessel may grow to be near-immortal, or possess several lifetimes of memories.
